Help an Elder Tell Their Story This Summer | Print |  E-mail

sofs_sum_of_serv_article_pi.jpgCalifornia Voices is recruiting youth and adult volunteers to help elders produce movies at Community Centers around Fresno this summer.

Are you a young person or adult who is interested in learning how to make movies? Would you like to help ensure that a veteran has his story of service to this country preserved forever through the Library of Congress? Join us this Summer for the upcoming California Voices production cycle in the FresnoConnect labs.

We are looking for dedicated volunteers who can commit to a few hours each week, conducting a recorded interview, and working in intergenerational teams to produce a short documentary using video editing software. If you are interested, please call or email CMC to be invited to the next volunteer orientation, scheduled for mid-June.

You can preserve history while making history at the same time. Join us!
