A preview for the half hour documentary Common Ground, a film about the farmers in California's San Joaquin Valley.

"My Story: Jessie De La Cruz" follows her journey in life: from a childhood laboring in the fields, to her work with César Chávez and the United Farm Workers movement.

"Escape from Fear" chronicles the story of Yee Yia Vang, as presented by his daughter Connie. Vang tells of his dangerous escape from Laos, and Connie learns the importance of her heritage and history.
